I could really use some of this right now.

popcorn and fuzzy blankets. why you so addictive?

So far I finished taking 3 finals. According to husband, I "beasted" them. Ya.....not sure what that means. But I'm assuming he thinks I did really well on them. He's all done with his but I have two more to "beast" through. And then I'm free! Watch out popcorn, I'm comin for ya.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

And i absolutely love it.
Husband took me out to sushi the other night for my belated birthday dinner. We ate at "Takashi" which is supposed to be the best restaurant in Salt Lake City, and i have to admit... it was daaang good. Then we walked around City Creek and did some window shopping.

me: isn't it kinda.....  expensive?
jerry: oh, don't worry honey. I make the big bucks!

hahaha oh men.

Prepping Day.

It's almost here! Today husband and I spent the afternoon helping the in-laws cook for tomorrow's big feast. I've never really cooked a "real" thanksgiving meal before so it was kinda fun. Today we made some bread rolls and apple pie for the first time. And they were both from scratch might I add. Woohoo! I'm kinda proud of myself guys. We'll see how it turns out though. Can't wait to eat it all up tomorrow <3

Belated Birthday Dinner! for me & jimmy @ texas roadhouse.
I don't care how "belated" a birthday dinner is. I'll take one any day. I'm not a big steak eater but hey, their rolls & honey butter is enough of a reason to get me to go there. Their steaks aren't half bad either though. Thank you to my sweet in-laws for treating all of us!

Also, if you haven't noticed, I have now blogged for 4 days in a row. FOUR DAYS! that has got to be some kind of amazing. At least for me. Don't expect me to keep it up though. Thanks (:

This past weekend..

top: yesstyle    l    jeans: AE    l    sandals: DSW

We went to Scheels! Been there yet? It's pretty cool I must say. It's like a small shopping mall with a mini aquarium and a ferris wheel. Say whaaaaat? I know. Crazy right? Lot's of stuff to look at and to play with. We walked around for about an hour or so, then my stomach started telling me that it was about time to eat. So we left and got dinner. At first we were thinking sushi, but then we wanted something a little more manly. And what's more manly than steak? That's right. Nothin'.

The best part about cooking.

watching jerry gobble up the yumminess.

i love that.
Then I think to myself... "yup I did good." And I give myself a pat on the back.

Well nothing too exciting today. We went to Costco though. That's always fun. Eating samples and coming home with big boxes of goodness. And as if that isn't enough to make me happy, one of the ladies working there smiled at me and said, "well aren't you just a cute lil' thing!!" haha yessss! now that's a compliment if I've ever heard one. Husband looked quite pleased. Thanks lady. I needed that extra confidence boost today. I love Costco.

it's conference weekend guys! which means...
- listening to the Lord's prophets while snack-munching & cuddling in bed all day
- doing homework in between conference sessions
- two new temples!
- girls can serve missions from the age of 19
- boys can serve missions from the age of 18
- aaaaand my professor acknowledges the importance of conference.

All expenses paid for? Yes please.

On Thursday night [yes, it was a school night] we went out to eat at La Jolla Groves at Riverwoods. We were taken out by some very generous people who paid for everything. whoopee! I was tempted to take pictures of the food too but it probably wasn't the right time or place. All you need to know is that everything was amazing and I highly recommend it. I felt like some fancy lady in there. hah hah that was kinda cool. Boris and Lilia, one of Jerry's friends came along too. She is the cutest pregnant lady ever! They're expecting a boy and I'm sooo excited for them. Can't wait to see their little person in January!

smile jerry!

and that's what i get.

We went to Thai Village for our Friday night date night. I looove Thai food. It's one of my favorites. So about a month ago, I started pronouncing "Thai" as "thigh" just because I felt like it. Jerry told me to stop or else it'll get stuck and I'll really start saying it like that. "pfffft no way." That's what I thought. But then the other day it actually almost slipped out like that.

"Thigh Village"
hah. not so appetizing.
