Things that make you feel naked.

Is that a weird title? It kinda is. Parents are reading this and raising an eyebrow or two. Sorry parents.


Anyways, there's a couple of things I absolutely need to have before leaving the house. Otherwise I feel... naked. Naked! Hah. My clothes for one thing obviously. But also my phone, a necklace or some earrings, my eyebrows (yes gotta have those brows on guys), and my watch. I started becoming a watch person a few years ago when my mama let me use hers during a sister trip. And after that I couldn't leave the house without one on. It makes me feel nakey. Ick. Don't like it.

I already have a few watches and today I'm wearing my new watch I got from JORD Wood Watches. They're seriously sooooo gorgeous you guys! And I can't believe I get to own one of these beauties. Jerry was a bit jealous when he saw mine. He's become a watch person too. Maybe one day Jerry ;) I was also genuinely impressed with the craftsmanship and with how sturdy the watch felt. Sometimes you just never know what you're gonna get ya know? I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about what a wood watch was going to be like but they definitely don't disappoint. Hi Lovelies! I'm Jessica and I blog over at Love, Love, Love--a style blog for the trendy, thrifty, girly-girl. Today I'm styling a printed pant and a peplum top. I've loved all the fun prints this season, and pairing the pants with peplum seemed like the way to go! Now you may be asking "How did she come up with this outfit?" Let's be real here...when it comes to styling and fashion, I don't really have any hard, fast rules. So this is what it I do for a typical outfit: 

• Scour Pinterest and other fashion blogs (like Marsa's!) for inspiration. I look for anything: color combos, patterns, and sometimes full outfits. I'm a firm believer in getting outfit inspiration anywhere!
• Next I "shop my closet" for the pieces I'll need for the outfit. Sometimes I don't have the exact piece, but I make it work. When you use the pieces you already have, your closet becomes more versatile.
• Finally, I always try to add my own flair to the outfit to keep from completely copying someone. Whether it's a different colored necklace or using the color combo in pants and a top rather than a dress and a scarf, adding your own take on an outfit is key. Once you do it long enough, you'll start putting your own outfits together like a pro!
