Marisa.
Marsha.
Martha.
Marcy.
etc.
etc.
etc.
And I guess those are a lot more common than "Marsa," so I can understand why people might call me those names. But at church, this new trend started where people started calling me Marza. With a "z." Hmmm....Marza. I really don't know about that one. I never really minded when people couldn't get my name right but that one.... I don't know. And the funniest part is that now half of the people at church think that's how you say my name. Ha-haaaaa. Marza. I guess it makes me appreciate my mom for naming me Marsa and not MarZa though.
Thanks mama.

I must say, Marsa is a very unique name! Maybe your mom meant to name you Marsha, but accidentally left out the "h"? Either way, it's cute :) Lovely outfit too!

Don;t you love when that happens. Everyone at our church gets our last name wrong that when they ask how it's pronounced i say, oh it doesn't really matter haha because they'll get it wrong next time anyways. SUPER cute outfit by the way!!
ReplyDeleteHeeeeyyy, look who's wearing a blazer this time! ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, love it with this chic outfit MarSa, the pleated skirt is just so pretty.
And I know, people always mispronounce my last name, I can't imagine what it'd be like if they got my first one wrong too! Haha, Marza? Hmmm, I don't know about that either...

I was just talking about this with my husband over the weekend when we went to Starbucks and the dude put "Jen" as my name. I've been called Jean and Jen and never Jane and sometimes I say my name really slowly or spell it right after so people don't mix it up! :)
ReplyDeletei can totally relate to having a name that is easily botched! all you can do is laugh lol. love your outfit! :)

Haha those are some good renditions of your name...the worse it gets with me is that people use the boy spelling which is still so irritation!!

Haha I have the same problem. People say my name like "Cassie" when it's really pronounced "Kay-see". I feel ya girl....and I always feel a little awkward correcting them!
ReplyDeletehaha! I dont have that problem.. my problem is that there is always another katie wherever I go :)
