Making some changes around here.

So Jerry and I started Insanity (the workout program). I'd like to say that it's awesome and my body feels sooooo energized everyday. But no. It doesn't. I've done it for 2 days now and my body is hurting in places I never even knew muscles existed. Waking up in the mornings are especially the worst. If a punching bag had feelings, that's probably close to what my body feels like right now. I guess that's what it takes to see results? And the only reason why I'm telling you this is because well, I don't know if I'll be able to keep this up for 90 days. But I figured that the more people I tell, the more obligated I'll feel to keep doing it. So here ya go. My confession of the week. 90 days seems so far away guys. Help me.

  3. my husband and i did insanity before our wedding and it works!! it's so hard though. i couldn't even get through an entire workout for weeks. haha you're so little already. you don't need to lose anything!! xoxo

  4. EEPS! Good luck with that workout. I heard it's definitely intense and as the title says, insane! =) But good for you for doing it. I imagine it should feel rough but I bet you'll feel better as you go...so keep going!!! =D At least you have your hubby with you as you do it!

  9. oh.my.goodness. i did insanity last summer. i have never seen results so fast before! the first two weeks suck, you want to climb through the tv and hurt one of them (ok, you still want to do that at the end) but after two weeks it's gets easier!

  10. you got this marsa! i started insanity almost two months ago. it definitely gets easier especially when you're doing it with a partner. M bailed after the third day {wimp}.

  12. My friend let me borrow the first DVD and it has been sitting around for quite a few months now, untouched. Watching the commercial alone scares me haha. I was just watching ZuzkaLight and her work outs...I just need to do one of them now. They are short but intense.

    I love that you are doing Insanity. The fact that you've done it 2 days is pretty impressive, as I watched my boyfriend do it once and I was tired. Yes, tired from just watching. That's sad...I know:( Keep us posted!!!!

  16. I tried Insanity and got through 30 days, I loved it at the end, I wish I would have continued. I might have to start it up again. It doesn't necessarily get much better, but you will start feeling better, and it gets more enjoyable - at least for me!

    Also, I love your outfit, the neutrals are paired so wonderfully.

  23. OH-MG THE INSANITY WORKOUT. I know how it feels. Seriously, to be honest, it won't last for too long considering you've felt this way even after a couple of attempts. But i've done Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred, from Level 1 to Level 3 (woohoo) and am feeling great. The bad thing about that is... it didn't change much of my body #doh.

    But anyway, nice blog, and nice chic style. ;)

    This workout is insane, but works! keep it up...when you do the test mid way, you'll see how you've improved and power through.

  26. you can do it! i just started to hit the treadmill too. i ran for 20 minutes and power walked for 15 additional minutes for two days so far and the second day was paaaainful. i was huffing and puffing and i thought my legs were going to give out at the end and that i would fall flat on my face and roll off the treadmill. here is to day 3! :) happy weekend!

  37. Best of fortune with that exercise. I observed it's definitely extreme and as the headline says, insane! =) But excellent for you for doing it. I think about it should experience difficult but I bet you'll experience better as you go...so keep going!!! =D At least you have your husband with you as you do it!

  38. OMG Insanity is crazy hard! But definitely worth it! So if you can do it 3 - 5 days a week and ease into it, soon your push-up and sit-up count will triple.
