We've got the travel bug.

 cardi: cottonon   l   pants: cottonon   l   shirt: f21, similar   l   boots: nr, similar


and it's happenin.
 
This April the hubs and I will be heading out to Hawaii, Japan, and Australia. Kinda awesome aye? I think so. It'll be the first big trip for us! A little graduation present to ourselves and I'm kinda super excited. Husband's a little worried that we'll end up burning a big hole in our wallets/bank accounts. But I mean hey, if we're traveling that far, I feel like we need to go big or go home. ya know? haha.... says the one who isn't in charge of the finances. But I mean really, who travels all the way across the world just to sit around in their hotel all day? Nobody. I think I've made my point.

    We did the exact same thing (minus Australia), and while it burned a whole in our wallets, I think it was totally worth it! Gotta do that stuff before you have jobs and kids and stuff :o

    ohhh you're stopping by Japan!! yup that'll be a HUGE hole in your wallet. But no fear! You will be so happy afterwards and wont regret it ;) But I recommend shopping for clothes in Osaka. I find everything to be cheaper there than tokyo.

    I also really like this white cardi *tugs on it*...I want itttt >.<

    oh and JC lita are Jeffrey Campbell Litas. They're 5 inch platform heels and if you looked on lookbook a few months back, they were EVERYWHERE. haha

    Jerry and I should play games!! Let me know if he plays diablo. haha xD

    I totally AGREE with you! My husband and I were just talking about how we want to save money- not so we can have a ton in our bank account...but so we can TRAVEL! His mission president was like that too with his family and that's how we want to be. It think it's awesome that you guys will have these fun memories! And I CAN'T BELIEVE WE WERE IN THE SAME WARD!!     I was in Hawaii for my honeymoon in September! Where in Hawaii? We spent 5 days on Maui and 5 days on Kauai, but I'm sure all of the islands are gorgeous!

    Thanks for the compliment (I'm blushing over here)! Btw, I didn't answer your question about the Laie temple. My husband and I met at BYU Hawaii, so the temple was an everyday sight for us. We love Hawaii! That's where my husband and I met and fell in love. Anyhoo, that's exciting that you get to travel to so many neat places! I'm sure it will be worth every penny=)

I never been to Australia but everyone loves it there and it's on my list. Honestly, I would not go to Hawaii, it's boring and way too commercial (touristy), I got bored (and my family) real fast. Seriously, go to Barbados, Bahamas, Bali, or even Belize! xx

    This is the post i was looking for to comment on :-)... I hope you have a wonderful trip to Australia.. I am an Aussie and just love our country... The weather is nice at the moment but can change at any point... thats Australia for you.. Evenings can get cool so be sure to pack layers..
    What a wonderful trip you have planned.. 3 of my favorite places.. My hubby and I went to Japan a few years ago after we got married, My brother and his family live there so we were lucky enough to have tour kids and translators the whole time... We LOVED IT...
    WE just recently returned from our first trip to HAwaii and also loved it.. I mean WHO WOULDNT love HAWAII!!
    And of course I live in AUS.. so cant not love it here...
