The things i've learned since being married. I'm so much wiser now!

1.    Don't try to talk to men while they're watching sports. It's ineffective.
in through one ear, out through the other.
2.    All men fart. Most of them just hold it in until they're married.
3.    Men like to feel manly. Let them hold the groceries.
4.    Money's tight. Budgeting is a lot harder than it looks. But it works.
5.    Men handle problems differently. They are fixers. Not sympathizers.
you're gonna have to go to your girlfriends for that one
6.    You and your "oh-so-fit" husband will soon be not-so-fit. It's inevitable.
Cause: marriage. But hey, at least he still looks as great as ever.
7.    Men's clothes take up more space = more laundry loads
8.    Toilet paper runs out a lot faster than it used to.
9.    Men don't like to mosey around the grocery store like women do.
their mission: get in, get out.
10. You suddenly feel old (10:00 bedtime)

                 and most importantly.....

11.    All these things really don't matter once you've finally found Mr.Right.
12.    Husband always tries to be the best he can be... for me.
13.    Getting married has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
14.    I couldn't have married a better man.
15.    Women are nowhere near perfect.
16.    I'm lucky for the man in my life who accepts me just the way I am.
17.    I love my husband more and more everyday.

in a couple of days, we make our two year mark since we've started dating.
can you believe he stuck with me through it all?

and i still get butterflies.
he must really love me.

  1. Wait...does this mean Jerry never farted around you pre-marriage? How is that even possible? We are Lee's...and I'm sure you've discovered who shockingly is the most gassy in that house.

Just wait for kids to enter the picture, then you'll really be learning some things.

Just be greatful you don't have a football player size spouse. I can easily do a load of laundry a day. Somehow when we've done the math I only am supposed to get about 1/3 of the bed, so I always lose the argument over needing my half of the bed.

    1. I asked him the exact same thing!! "how did I never hear this before we got married??"
He said he held it in until he dropped me off everyday. And that he's glad he doesn't have to do that anymore because it was painful haha

  2. I completely agree with EVERYTHING! Especially going to bed early! Never did I go to bed before midnight pre-marriage. But, once the clock hits 11pm, I pass out.. lol I'm still getting used to being married and married life is still full of surprises! But, it's so worth it when it is Mr.Right!!
