This week is Thanksgiving week! So excited. It'll also be the first time Jerry and I get to cook our own thanksgiving feast and start our very own traditions. Just us. Well, sorta. My sister will be flying into town to celebrate with us so that'll be fun. I've missed her! My sickness has also started to die down so now I'm totally in recovery mode. Which means of course, lots of sleeping, lots of drinking (water), and eating as much food as possible.
Last week, getting really sick made me think about how thankful I am to have a healthy body, and how important it is for me to take care of it more instead of taking it for granted. It also helps to have a fully supportive husband who runs to the kitchen in the middle of the night to get me a barf bowl. Even when it's a false alarm. Or when he goes to the grocery store 3 times a day to fulfill my random food cravings. Tofu! Soup! Cup Noodles! My coughing has also been keeping Jerry up late at night so thankfully that's been getting better. Jerry has been my little errand boy the past couple of weeks and it made me feel like a total useless wife. Sleeping all day, watching tv shows, cooking nothing and yet still managing to eat all the food, making a mess, and of course skipping out on blogging. That was me. Just in case you were wondering what a useless wife looked like. And Jerry's response to a useless wife:
" it's okay, I signed up for all of this when I married you. "
that you did.
love ya boo.

That coat. Simply adorable. I love mixing patterns even in my own wardrobe. I would love to post pictures of my daily outfits to share but I'm a tad shy and awkward to do so. Maybe one day. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear that you're feeling better. We are all entitled to a little down time when we're sick. I'm sure your husband has enjoyed taking care of you!
