The Things I Never Knew.

skirt: f21   l   top: japan   l   bracelets: c/o apple of my eye

The other week, Jerry got our cap & gowns for graduation. But the thing is, they don't even make them in my size. Rude. But I got over it, and when I tried it on this weekend, I was pretty much drowning in it. Basically, it looked like I was wearing a huge trash bag. But I decided to show Jerry anyway to see what he thought, and his reaction? "hmmm ya....." That is NOT a good sign people! So I was sad. I was sad that I would graduate looking like a Halloween costume that went wrong. But then you know what Jerry says next?? You'll never guess.

"you want me to sew and alter it for you?"

what the...
uh, come again?

"i can sew it to make it fit you better if you want."

WHO. ARE. YOU.
he's superman in disguise guys.
and all this time, he kept it from me!

this guy.

  7. That is so sweet!

I'm pretty sure no one looks attractive in their grad gowns because the gowns are just unattractive in nature, haha

  16. AW! He is the sweetest! This story melted my heart.
I had the same issues with my gown! It wasn't very cute, but altering was out of the question as I rented mine (the gown costed almost $300!!!!).
Oh, and the cap hardly fit my tiny pinhead and it ended up falling off while I was getting my degree...on the big screen. Go me!

I have this skirt and I've never worn it! I LOVE how you styled it and am totally stealing your idea:) Marsa, you are the cutest person ever....for reals.

  27. Bahaha! I love that! A man of hidden talents. My dad (a hardened and rugged military man of 25 years) sometimes pulls random things like that out of his hat too! One time I came home when I was younger and he was hemming his own pants ON THE SEWING MACHINE!!!

    I love it!

  33. I love your outfit, that skirt is adorable! My cap and gown was GINORMOUS I'm not sure why they make them all so huge. It was also May in FL when I graduated so not only was I drowning in my gown but I was sweating like a pig. Not a cute look!
