I want to be like you.

cardi: UO    l    shirt: f21, similar

Yes you. All you crafty, sewing, trendy, good-food-makin, treat-bakin, blogger mom / wives. I want to be like you. See, I kinda thought that after I got the Mrs. degree, I'd automatically become awesome at all of those things. Which obviously, wasn't true at all. Because here I am, blogging about how I'm not so awesome at those things. I see you blogging about your little DIY projects and I envy your craftiness. I tell myself things like "i'm busy with school!" to make myself feel better about my lack in those areas. But honestly, who am I kiddin'? PEOPLE. I need to do something about that. So to all you crafty little blogger mom / wives... teach me your ways.

love,
the helpless one.

  46. Honestly, I think busy with school is a great excuse! When I was in school I could barely get dressed in the morning and feed myself, and I was single. I admire, to the greatest degree, those that are married and taking care of grown men that at some point knew how to take care of themselves, while getting an education. Baby steps Marsa

  57. I love your mixed patterns, great call! And I totally covet your red cardi! Why do most things that are super cute cost a lot? :/ Don't worry too much about the little things you can't do, yet. We all have somewhere in us a spark of creativity and sometimes it just takes time to figure it out. I didn't start making things til after I got married and I am still slowly finding things I like to do. When I look back at the things I first made when I started out, you would think a child made it, haha! They were pretty funny/goofy looking. It took me awhile to find my style & creativity. This may sound silly but you do have a talent for blogging :) Your blog is super cute, and you capture people's attention with your wonderful personality!
