New Years.

sweater: f21, similar, similar, similar   l   scarf: hautelook, similar   l   jeans: gap   l   blazer: f21

It was pretty much a normal day for us. Which is totally fine with me because it's been a pretty eventful couple of weeks anyway. We did do some babysitting though and let me tell ya, it really is the best kind of birth control out there. Hahaa. Oh man... kids. Not having any of those anytime soon. But I guess it was kinda fun.... kinda. Also kinda scary. I've decided that babies are the scariest because they don't talk. They just cry. And I have no idea why they're doing it. Someone should really make an invention for that. Pronto.

  1. Love the outfit. I have been looking for a big comfy scarf for a while and haven't found one as cute as the one you have on.

  4. Haha. I love kids, but patience is needed to handle them.

Great outfit though. I like how you paired each piece together! Nice boots! :)

  5. I love seeing blazers dressed down paired with jeans! I like that the striped sleeves poke out of the blazer sleeve. It's nice seeing you so bright and cheery in all your outfit photos, a refreshing take on so many serious faces on other blogs haha!

I can't imagine to have children of my own any time soon too... it's interesting (sometimes also alienating...o.0) to be with them ;)

  10. Haha! Babies scare me too. It's nice when you can play with them for a little while babysitting and then hand them back over to their parents :) Love your cozy, chunky knit scarf!

  13. I just came across your blog. Holy cow. You are GORGEOUS! I'm loving the outfit. We teach little kids & they are definitely a lot of work. I've come to the conclusion that it takes a very very special person to be a teacher. I couldn't do it!

  16. Oh, I always say this about dogs... That they can't speak and explain what they need or where it hurts and it kills me, especially when it's my dog. Having to deal with a baby on my own would be pretty traumatic experience (for me - and probably the baby, too) :)

I think when you do decide to have a baby, your baby will be into fashion too. Even not talking too much, but expressing much. :)

  34. Boots, hair :) PERFECT. I think babies are perfect, sometimes scary (like you said) - It's like you don't know what they want, what they cry for. But yet they're trying to communicate, and trying to tell us something. And as mothers I think it's a very heartwarming sight. Not until they cry, non-stop :(
